Adam Schomaker

Biography

I grew up in Saginaw, MI and went to college at Northwood University in Midland, MI where I earned my Bachelors degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management.

My career began working on Golf Courses at the age of 14. My focus shifted to Culinary Arts, Event Planning during college, and eventually to Sales for a portfolio of hotels in Grand Rapids, MI. Over the next 12 years, I have had the pleasure to open and work with independent hotels, Marriott, Hilton, IHG, and Hyatt brand hotels across the US in opening, branding, sales, marketing, and operations. I've lived in Grand Rapids, MI and Chicago, IL before moving to Madison, WI.

My wife and I have two daughters. Outside of work, I enjoy hiking, fishing, boating, golfing, grilling, and just being outdoors with my family.
