Janessa Johnson

Biography

I was born and raised in the small town of Spring Green, WI and currently live in Madison with my best friend and our cat. I graduated from University of Wisconsin – Eau Claire with my Associate Degree in Liberal Arts & Sciences. I originally was a Psychology major, but decided to change my educational direction. I took a gap year to work, enrolled in Madison College, and then graduated with my Accounting Assistant Technical Diploma. Prior to RMC, I worked at CSM Companies, Inc for 2.5 years where I worked in Accounts Payable for heavy and medium duty Kenworth trucks.

Outside of work I love to be very active. My nights and weekends consist of two softball teams, volleyball, lifting, running, hiking, fishing, camping, basketball, soccer, and frisbee. (yes, I know it’s a lot). My friends and I love to be active together; trying out new cafes and restaurants, enjoying breweries and live music, doing puzzles (especially NYT games and sudoku!), and watching Wisconsin sports. On the rare chance I have nothing on my calendar, you can find me reading, trying out new cooking recipes, or playing video games.

I strongly believe in having fun, being yourself without fear of judgement, treating everyone with kindness and respect, and having a positive mindset. You can often find me dancing at my desk being a ray of sunshine.
