I was born and raised in Merrill Wisconsin. I played hockey from the age of seven and stopped at the age of 21. My High School job was working at the local ice rink driving the Zamboni. I received my associate degree from Northcentral Technical College as a Medical Laser Specialist in 2000. I worked for one year in an industrial laser setting before accepting a position with GE Healthcare as a Field Service Engineer. I spent eight years with GE, living in Kenosha, Denver, and Chicago. In 2009, I went back to school full-time at UW-Milwaukee where I completed a dual major in accounting and finance in December of 2012.
