Kenny Franz

Biography

I grew up in Dowagiac, Mi (Doe-wah-jack) which a small farming town in Southwest Michigan almost on the Indiana border just 2 hours around the lake from Chicago. I am the youngest of three siblings and a proud uncle to some nieces and nephews.  I am a single and ready to mingle Bachelor who is a proud dog dad of a Golden Lab/Border Collie mix named Lyla. I enjoy watching and playing all sorts of sports, especially indoor and outdoor volleyball, walking my dog Lyla, and trying new wines. I graduated Spring 2009 with Bachelor of Arts in Hospitality Business from THE School of Hospitality Business, Michigan State University. I have always been in hospitality. I found my love for the Rooms Division in my first job out of college with West Paces/Capella Hotel Group on the Jersey Shore and Virginia Beach. Through Task Force, I made my way to Chicago and worked in several leadership roles within the Room Division at various full-service hotels. A leap of faith and a cross country move brought me to Boise, ID where I have spent the last 4 years as AGM with RMC.
